“TO LOVE LIFE IS TO BE HAPPY “
I was born and bred in Cho Lon (Saigon), a bustling urban area with as many ups and downs as cultures. An intermingling of people from all over the world that represent the diverse, rich, and emotional City that never stops – not even to take a breath. I replicate this attitude in my relationship with my craft.
My artistic vision is rooted in the belief that beauty is everywhere – both in the past and present. In my art, the past functions as a foundation for the present, like roots are to trees. Like a tree myself, I have spent 30 years growing as an architect and interior designer. This path has involved theorizing, learning about life, human affections, love, facing challenges and gaining experience – notably, in managing pain and turning it into art. A philosophy I have developed in this time frame is: ‘To love is to listen. To love is to listen to ourselves live.’

In my 30 year career, I spent 20 years with a company that helped me look closely within myself. I have learnt that self-discovery is never-ending, like my love for my work – there is always more and more to unveil. This has propelled and transformed into YC, a dream I held onto for 5 years and have spent the last 10 years bringing it to life.
And now, despite having surpassed 50 Lunar New Years on Earth, my career has truly only started. My artistry is the result of days and years honoring the promise: ‘I am to create.’ It is my purpose, my fuel, and my legacy.
At the center of my latest collection are the five senses. These have allowed me to observe the nature around me, fill my lungs with the Earth’s dust, talk and listen about beauty, and caress it with my touch. They have allowed me to realize my artistic aspirations.

The five senses are the cornerstone of our human experiences – imperfect but real. To emphasize this, the collection particularly underlines to the feelings of joy, sadness, anger, curiosity, and panic.
We all experience our five senses differently. Who knows – you may even feel them with more passion than I do. I welcome you to explore my collection to find out.

The LACI Collection is dedicated to the world’s beautiful women.
In my eyes, a beautiful woman is rich in kindness, empathy, sophistication, and forgiveness. Her soul exudes pride, grace, affection, and romance. A woman in her wedding dress is inexplicably beautiful – irreplaceable, delicate yet fierce, and irresistible.
LACI is inspired by the draped fabrics hit by the wind, tempted to access the beauty that lies within.
